Talk can be cheap or crazy ass expensive. We are in Saturnville now during a nodal change. What does it cost me? What is it worth? These are the questions. Should I? Shouldn’t I? Hmmmmm.

Relationships can be a Saturday fun fest—full of music and Kalamata olive hummus. Hardly now, however are we seeing swing dancing. These are times of tough blood and guts conversations, where different values are flying around smacking us all upside the face. My ten-year-old son uses the word cringy to describe our now. Enter Gemini and Sagittarius, dressed in gold, black, and purple (the nodes of the moon).  We are taking a much closer look at the rules in general—at lawmakers and law breakers—meaning, making, and faking. What is total and complete utter bullshit, and what is not? Lie detector anyone? Do they sell them on Amazon?

We are all mixing and grinding out our magic with ourselves and with others on the daily. There are hours and days when our magic wands are shattered and in need of maintenance. Sometimes, wrong words and wrong thoughts lead to wrong, crappy actions and wrong choices. Getting our Mercury (communication/thought/listening/speaking) styles in order and our Jupiter (hope/big picture/vision) back is the only way to get through the insanity we are all living through now.

I first journeyed into Astrology’s music 22 years ago, through the nodes of the moon and Chiron. These were my favorite friends—symbolic messengers–the North Node, South Node, and Chiron. The nodes of the moon were game changers for me. Two highlighters in the sky singing one dramatic, changing song, and that song is a map toward wholeness and consciousness. 

In Antiquity, Astrologers gave the nodes emphasis, using them to forecast eclipses. These nodal energies are places of deep vulnerability. They link together our before (past lives) and our now (from our birthday and beyond). They speak to our patterns of behavior with a scholarly, yet witchy eye. They are buried treasures full of secrets that live beneath the bluest sea surrounded by yellow and blue glow-in-the-dark fish.

It is not simple to talk, nor is it simple to listen. We have to infuse heart, mind, soul and body (Earth action) into our hearing. It is not easy to have your heart, or your mind, fully understood. We connect in some ways and disconnect in others. The nodes of Gemini and Sagittarius are all about integrating the head (being human) and the heart (being spirit/soul). Data (Gemini) meets knowing (Sagittarius). It’s not the words you even use, it’s the intention and feeling beneath the pulse. We are all soft and loud vibration in action.

I learned a great deal about the effort and meaning of authentic communication when I took a Sign Language class in the Department of Education. I loved this course because I’m a dancer. Gesture, facial expressions, and the physical body cannot lie. When you are talking with your body and your hands, every move you make is expressing your truth. When words become physical (action), they are Real. How do you speak the truth, tell the truth, know your own truth, and live an authentic life?

We are in for a new ride on the Gemini Sage plane. The sky has changed. The Lord of the Sky Uranus in Taurus is moving all of the clouds out of the way so we can see the entire picture.
